　　尊敬的各位老師，親愛(ài)的同學(xué)們，大家早上好!

　　Good morning, dear teachers and classmates

　　面對(duì)我們新學(xué)期的學(xué)習(xí)生活，我想借用西漢經(jīng)學(xué)家劉向在《說(shuō)苑》中的一句話：學(xué)所以益才也，礪所以致刃也”，要想青春無(wú)悔，就要努力學(xué)習(xí)，要想刀刃鋒利，就得勤加磨礪。

　　Faced with our new semester's life, I want to use a sentence in Shuoyuan written by Liu Xiang, a Confucian scholar of the Western Han Dynasty, learning is beneficial to talent and building themselves. If you want to be young without regrets, you must try your best and study hard.

　　首先歡迎高一的學(xué)弟學(xué)妹們來(lái)到天行一中!不積跬步，無(wú)以至千里;不積小流，無(wú)以成江海。高中的每一天都不應(yīng)該被虛度，無(wú)論你之前經(jīng)歷了什么，來(lái)到這里后都不重要，當(dāng)下都是嶄新的開(kāi)始。國(guó)際學(xué)校的學(xué)習(xí)與普通初高中大不相同，你們要學(xué)會(huì)轉(zhuǎn)變心態(tài)，轉(zhuǎn)變思維，跟緊老師的步伐，打好基礎(chǔ)。相信自己，三年的努力，最后一定會(huì)讓自己滿意。無(wú)論何時(shí)，請(qǐng)不要畏懼失敗，正如馮夢(mèng)龍所言，不是一番寒徹骨，怎得梅花撲鼻香?

　　First of all, welcome new students to Teesen No. 1 Middle School! No accumulation of steps, can't lead to thousand miles .No integration of streams, can't result in seas and oceans.. Every day in high school should not be wasted,whatever you have experienced before, it is not important foe you . Teesen is a new beginning for you now. Learning in international schools is quite different from that in traditional schools. You should learn to change your mindset, change your thinking, keep pace with teachers and build a good foundation. Believe yourself, three years of hard work will finally make you satisfied. Whenever, please don't be afraid of failure. As Feng Menglong said, how can plum blossom smell when it does not experience bitter cold?

　　高二的學(xué)弟學(xué)妹們，你們將要在十月份迎來(lái)語(yǔ)文、數(shù)學(xué)和物理的CIE統(tǒng)考，“少年辛苦終身事，莫向光陰惰寸功”，歲月匆匆，時(shí)不我待，這是一個(gè)關(guān)鍵的時(shí)期，也是高中學(xué)習(xí)的黃金時(shí)期，容不得絲毫的懈怠，你們要做的就是不斷的積累再積累，為明年的申請(qǐng)做好準(zhǔn)備!

　　For senior two students , you will join the CIE examination of Chinese ,mathematics and physics in October , "Young people should work hard and do not waste time ,which is beneficial to their whole life". Time flies, we must make the best of it. This is not only a critical period, but also the golden period of high school .We can not waste. What you have to do is accumulation , in order to prepare for next year's application!

　　高三的我們，現(xiàn)在也是在為撲面而來(lái)的考試做準(zhǔn)備，“學(xué)如 ，才如箭鏃”，只有學(xué)習(xí)的 彎如滿月，才能的箭鏃才能命中。任何言語(yǔ)都是蒼白的，唯有不懈的努力才可以告慰青春，你可以一天寫(xiě)三套past paper，你可以早起十分鐘晚睡十分鐘背幾個(gè)雅思單詞，你可以用打一局游戲的時(shí)間弄懂一個(gè)沒(méi)理解的經(jīng)濟(jì)定義，總有人比你努力，可怕的是比你優(yōu)秀的人比你還要努力一百倍。

　　As students from Senior Three , we are also preparing for the coming exam. "Learning like bows and crossbows is like arrows." Only we spend our all time and energy , we can get good rewards. Every word is no-tangible, only tireless efforts can comfort youth, you can write three past papers every day, you can get up ten minutes early, sleep ten minutes late so that you can memorize a few IELTS words, you can use the time of playing game to understand an incomprehensible economic definition, there are always people who work harder than you, the terrible thing is there are always excellent people who work harder than you.

　　現(xiàn)在的學(xué)習(xí)是為了將來(lái)，這句話也許很俗套，但也很真實(shí)。沒(méi)有人會(huì)為了你的未來(lái)買(mǎi)單，你要么努力向上爬，要么爛在社會(huì)最底層的泥淖里，這就是現(xiàn)實(shí)。

　　Learning is beneficial to future. This may be old, but it's truth. No one will pay for your future. You either try to climb up or stay in the mud at the bottom of society. That's the reality.

　　小時(shí)候覺(jué)得游泳難，選擇放棄，長(zhǎng)大后遇到喜歡的人約你游泳，你只好說(shuō)不會(huì)啊;讀書(shū)時(shí)覺(jué)得英語(yǔ)難，不認(rèn)真學(xué)，步入社會(huì)后遇到一份優(yōu)秀的工作但需要良好的英文功底，你只好說(shuō)不會(huì)啊。人生前期越嫌麻煩，后期錯(cuò)過(guò)的人與事就越多，我曾看到這樣一段話：你背單詞時(shí)，阿拉斯加的鱈魚(yú)正躍出水面;你算數(shù)學(xué)時(shí)，太平洋彼岸的海鷗振翅掠過(guò)城市上空;你晚自習(xí)時(shí)，極圖中的夜空散漫了五彩斑斕。但是你別著急，在你為自己未來(lái)踏踏實(shí)實(shí)地努力時(shí)，那些你感覺(jué)從來(lái)不會(huì)看到的景色，那些你覺(jué)得終身不會(huì)遇到的人，正一步步向你走來(lái)。

　　When I was a child, I found it difficult to swim. I chose to give up. When I grew up, I met someone I liked and asked you to swim, I had to say no. When I was reading, I found it difficult to learn English carefully, however when I entered the society, I met a good job, but I needed a good English level . I had to say no. The more troublesome you choose give up in the early days of life, the more people and things you miss in the later years. I've seen a sentence like this: Alaska cod is leaping out of the water when you recite words; the seagulls on the other side of the Pacific are winging over the city when you calculate math; and the night sky in the polar picture is scattered and colorful when you study at night. But don't worry, as you work hard for your future, those scenes you never feel you will see, those people you think you will never meet in life, are coming to you step by step.
